Kromapick Help Center
Learn how to capture, mix, and organize the perfect color with our official guide.
1. Cloud Sync & Projects
With a Kromapick Pro account, all your captured colors and palettes are automatically synced to the cloud. You can organize your palettes into Custom Projects (folders) for different clients or brands, keeping your workflow seamless across devices. If you ever delete a color, you can recover it from the Trash section within 30 days.
2. Live Camera & Extraction
Use the Live Camera Picker to extract dominant colors directly from the real world. You can freeze the camera feed to manually pick specific colors or extract an entire palette. Additionally, you can upload images directly from your gallery to examine them and extract a complete color palette automatically or manually.
3. Manual Color Input
Know exactly what you're looking for? Enter a HEX code, adjust the Hue, Saturation, and Lightness (HSL) sliders manually, or even search for a color by its common name (e.g., 'Navy Blue', 'Wine Red').
4. Inspire (Random Generator)
Feeling stuck? Use the Inspire feature to randomly generate beautiful, balanced colors. It's the perfect starting point when you need a spark of creativity.
5. Color Mixer
The Mixer allows you to blend multiple colors together to see the resulting mix. It's the perfect tool for fine-tuning a palette or discovering new intermediate shades.
6. Detail, Harmonies & Export
Tap on any saved color to view its detailed Breakdown. Here, you can check its WCAG Accessibility score (contrast against white/black text), explore mathematically perfect Color Harmonies (Analogous, Complementary, Triadic), and export your palette to Adobe formats (.ASE, .ACO) or CSS/Tailwind code.
7. UI Palette Tester
Wondering how your palette looks in action? Use the Palette Tester to apply your colors to a mock user interface. This helps you visualize the contrast and balance between your primary, secondary, and background colors before you start coding or designing.
